Volunteers and Bakers Still Needed for Craft Fair This Weekend

Thanks to all of the parents and students who have already volunteered to work at the BHS Athletic Boosters Craft Fair this weekend and/or donate baked goods. We are still in need of bakers and volunteers to assist during the following times:

Friday, October 28th

3 pm to 5 pm
5 pm to 7 pm

Saturday, October 29th

9 am to 11 am
11 am to 1 pm
1 pm to 3 pm
3 pm to 5 pm

If you would like to volunteer, please either respond to this email or email the Boosters at bhscraftfair@gmail.com. If you would like to donate baked goods, please drop them off on Friday afternoon between 3 and 7 or on Saturday morning between 8 and 10 at the BHS Cafeteria.

10th Annual BHS Athletic Booster Club Craft Fair!

The 10th Annual BHS Athletic Booster Club Craft Fair will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2011, at the Burlington High School Cafeteria from 10 am to 3 pm. There will be over 100 unique crafters - with offerings such as feather hair extensions and henna tattoos, a bake sale table, numerous raffle items, a special Burlington sports raffle basket, and so much more. New this year will be a food café section, acoustical music by BHS students, and the B-Line bus will be shuttling patrons from the lower parking lot to the cafeteria entrance. Admission is only $2.00. All proceeds generated from the Craft Fair benefit Burlington High School student athletes.

If you wish to make a donation to the Bake Sale, you may drop it off on Friday, October 28th between 3 pm and 7 pm or on Saturday, October 29th between 8 am and 10 am at the cafeteria entrance of the High School.

-Baked goods that are donated will be sold at 100% profit.
-Best sellers in past years have been assorted breads, cookies and cakes.
-Donations must be wrapped and must be clearly marked if they include any type of nuts.

BHS Athletic Booster Club Meeting

The next Burlington High School Athletic Booster Club meeting will be held on Thursday, October 13th, at 7:00 p.m. in the Health Room at Burlington High School, which is next to the Athletic Office and across from the Fitness Center.

Football and Volleyball Concession Volunteers Needed

The BHS Athletic Booster Club is calling for volunteers to assist with selling concessions and 50/50 raffle tickets at all home Football games during the remainder of the 2011 football season:

Football Home Games (at Varsity Field)

Thursday, October 6th at 6:00 p.m.
Friday, October 14th at 7:00 p.m.
Friday, October 28th at 7:00 p.m.
Friday, November 11th at 7:00 p.m.
Thanksgiving Day - Thursday, November 24th at 10:15 a.m.
